I can't argue with that at all. The same mentality that blights the Americanisation of Japanese horror (but I guess thats going down another route so i'll just stop talking now.)

Unless its the Japanese version, i'd advise against it. Honestly, the time you'll waste watching the remake could be better put to use by, say, watching paint dry, or trying to explain the values of quality movie-making to Roland Emmerich.

Actually, scratch the last part. He did a stonking job on the credits of 'Day After Tomorrow'.

While I would generally agree with that I am very ashamed to admit it but I enjoyed the film "About A Boy" just as much as the book... I put the video in all ready to hate it and sit there seething (seriously Brit romcom with Hugh Grant.. can't be good) but I really loved it infact I though the end was better than the book.

Yeah, I saw that in the theatres... I used to like Nick Hornby's books a lot and now I think they're silly.

I was sooo disapointed with that book I really enjoyed "about a boy" and "how to be good" he doesn't know how to finish a story though.

Man, i loved Caddyshack 1 but the sequel is horrible. Chase is the only returning character.

Re: Worst Film/Movie ever (I am sure this is a DDT but I have searched and can't find it)

Fixxy and I recently caught a screening of Dominion: The Exorcist Prequel. Not the one put out in the theatres by Renny Harlin, but the one that was never released... and I can see why. It was beyond bad. The acting was painful to watch, the script weak and, because the director didn't have much of a budget to work with, it looked awful. The worst part was that the director, Paul Schrader, was in the audience and stayed after for a Q and A, and half the people in the theatre left.

You really should see it. I ordered a really good DVD of it. Great quality and good extra, so if you buy it make sure you're not getting a shitty quality version of it. It will be worth it.
