Which puts in a mind a suggestion they made about Syd staying at home to write the songs while the band went out and performed them.

Since Roger seems more interested in writing the songs than performing them, perhaps the other guys could get songs from Roger, embellish them with their own special musical additives and release a "proper" Pink Floyd album.

I don't suppose David would be too willing to agree to that, so...hey ho.
