| Dogs i have been listening to this song much recently. well to the whole animals album actually but that is not the point. i also started doing research on the internet and everywhere i looked it said that dogs was about business men that only care about money but having heard song over and over, reading lyrics couple of times i really can't shake this feeling that what i have read about it being about businessmen was wrong. i mean reading the lyrics to me it seems more like the song is actually about policemen, you know the authority. i mean the song ends with these lyrics Who was born in a house full of pain Who was trained not to spit in the fan Who was told what to do by the man Who was broken by trained personnel Who was fitted with collar and chain Who was given a seat in the stand Who was breaking away from the pack Who was only a stranger at home Who was ground down in the end Who was found dead on the phone Who was dragged down by the stone. if you ask me these lyrics are more suitable to lets say police, secret service or something like that than to businessmen. i mean policemen are trained. they're told what to do, they have no freedom but they only follow orders regardless of what they think about them, people dont accept them often cause you can't really trust a cop now can you so why do people write that its about businessmen? |

| Re: Dogs I'd say those particular lyrics are about Roger Waters himself.
