| Re: favorite floydian solo song while we're on this solo album topic, did anyone ever notice that dave's "about face" and rog's "pros & cons..." were released in the same year, and, they both have a hitchhiking theme, dave has his thumb out, and maybe he is saying "about face" to the model on rog's album... |

| Re: favorite floydian solo song That pose was not deliberately struck for the album cover, if you believe what Storm Thorgerson says in his "Mind Over Matter" book. Dave didn't even know he was being photographed when he stuck his thumb out like that. Besides, the album was released about a month before Roger's so I'm sure it's probably just a coincidence. |
