A big welcome from me as well! As you can see we are a friendly bunch of souls, just like dear old Riv, who has made some important points in his opening address. However, please read the rules and guidelines as well, as this gives a lot of info about a variety of things...life...the universe...umm...If you get stuck, please give a shout and a friendly Mod will give assistance. Get posting.

Re: "Hello, from Curacao........

WOW!! is that Crowley I see there in your avatar? thats a whole other big book right there. If I'm wrong its cool, likewise if I'm right. I'm FROM ohio (sux) but am deployed to the tropical island of Curacao. There is nothing better I've ever done, than to go for a deep scuba dive ( we learned here.) and have a great Floyd song blasting in my brain. The tempo, the cutains of bubbles going slowly upward, the color of the fish, the tropical reefs. I've been slightly "away" from Floyd in the forefront of my thinking, but always have and will listen. Diving is so trippy, it got me closer again. I've seen the band w/ lapse and the Division bell. I always felt that Dave had alot to say on that album. I think the fact that many fans didn't like it, and the fact that when Dave looks in the mirror, he sees ans old man, makes hugh doubts that any other major production will come down the pike. Syd's death wasn't any help either. "The taste was sweeter."
