Re: IQ (Symphonic Rock band)

Yes I know. I was poking fun at that by making the most obvious "joke".

Actually that's wrong too. Your IQ only measures your ability to take tests and use logic. It doesn't measure real intelligence, which is unmeasurable.

No it's not. Logic is a very very small part of intelligence. There are many different types of intelligences, including physical intelligence (meaning that a skilled athlete is very intelligent, physically...think hand/eye coordination).

Haha what's intelligence if it's not your thought process?

Re: IQ (Symphonic Rock band)

But is logic not the ability of coming to a conclusion by thinking things through?

OK, I`m starting to like IQ (the band, of course , let`s stay on topic).
The Wrong Side Of Weird is my favourite song from those that I`ve heard. What should I listen to next (albums, songs)?

The Wrong Side of Weird is indeed a fucking great song and comes from a fucking great album; The Seventh House. You should get that you will thank me later. Dark Matter is good also but mainly the 25 minute epic ''Harvest of Souls''.

And have you noticed all the floydian sounds in Born Brilliant from Dark Matter? I mean clocks, spacey sounds like in Shine On You Crazy Diamond, tech-sounds like Welcome To The Machine and something that you can hear in TFC? It`s full of them!
EDIT: Could a moderator, please, delete my previous post? I don`t understand why my new post came out to be double post of the previous one, maybe I pressed "quote" in the wrong place?

Re: IQ (Symphonic Rock band)

The only thing I really noticed was the clocks but I have to admit I don't really like that track. In comparison to Harvest of Souls the rest of the album seems somewhat weak. The Seventh House is a much better album because it truly is brilliant from start to finish. I really want to check out their 2 disc rock opera ''Subterranea''.
