Re: Pink Floyd POD-casting

NEW POD-SHOW dec. 5.
http://www.thedoctor.cc

THIS TIME

Electric Factory, Philadelphia, Pa, 26. September, 70 - If you close your eyes, you will feel as though you are there in the room. The Electric Factory, in Philadelphia (as you can see on the photo) is not very big. You can hear peoples' coughs echo off the walls during the quiet moments, it's that small of a "room".

The performance is excellent and there's a good amount of experimentation going on... more than usual for a 1970 Floyd show (based on what I've heard so far). Every song is played beautifully from start to finish. Interstellar Overdrive was especially "interesting". A very spaced out show indeed.

Whoever taped this show, where ever you are... I LOVE YOU!!!!!

Re: Pink Floyd POD-casting

Yes. New Show to Download at "The Doctor".
http://www.thedoctor.cc

This Show goes under the name:

"Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town"

Show #45, Release Date: 2. December, 2005
Original Show #8, Air Date: 15. May, 2004

Pink Floyd, Foxboro, Ma., 19. May 1994.
It was a cold, damp, drizzily "English" Thursday evening, typical Spring weather for May and perfect weather for a Pink Floyd show. It was the second night during their three night stay in the Boston area. It was Section B2, 19th Row (15 feet in front of the soundboard), Seat 19 (center stage). WOW! It was truly an incredible sensory overload.

The day after the concert, the sun was shining bright with few clouds in the sky, yet it was quite windy. Nonetheless, Pink Floyd's airship The Division Belle made a rare appearance.

Set 1
1. Astronomy Domine
2. Learning to Fly
3. What Do You Want From Me?
4. On the Turning Away
5. Take it Back
6. Poles Apart
7. Sorrow
8. Keep Talking
9. One of These Days

Set 2
1. Shine On You Crazy Diamond
2. Breathe
3. Time
4. Breathe (reprise)
5. High Hopes
6. Great Gig In The Sky
7. Wish You Were Here
8. Us & Them
9. Money
10. Another Brick In The Wall (part 2)
11. Comfortably Numb

Encore
1. Hey You
2. Run Like Hell

I like that last track a lot... I believe it's Nick Mason's Second Lead Vocal Ever.

Re: Pink Floyd POD-casting

New Show 31 dec. 2005

"Brain Damage...Down Under?"
Show #47, Release date: 31. December, 2005

The Doctor says;

Yep... One ambitious, Fat Old Sun from Geelong, Australia asked me if he could have a go at making his own Brain Damage radio show for me to hear. I said why not and two weeks later he sent it to me. After listening to it, I feel it deserves some merit. After all he throws in some good narration, has a decent selection of songs and even used a music bed to talk over, just like mine. Fat Old Sun had no intention of this going public but I want to share it with you. Brain Damage "up above" (the original) will be back on 7. January, 2006.

Enjoy the surprise podcast and HAPPY NEW YEAR

1. Yet Another Movie (JFK Stadium, Philadelphia, PA, 19. September, 1987)
2. Welcome To The Machine (JFK Stadium, Philadelphia, PA, 19. September, 1987)
