| what are your favorite songs from any of the boys' solo peojects? i searched for this topic and didn't see anything like it. for me, i like, in no particular order: 1.murder. david gilmour-about face 2. running shoes. roger waters- pros/cons/hitchhiking 3. satellite. rick wright-broken china

| Re: favorite floydian solo song i find terrapin by syd to be stuck in my head quite often. "kinda catchy". also, anything pretty much from amused to death. unfortunately, i havent gotten into dave or ricks work

| Re: favorite floydian solo song while we're on this solo album topic, did anyone ever notice that dave's "about face" and rog's "pros & cons..." were released in the same year, and, they both have a hitchhiking theme, dave has his thumb out, and maybe he is saying "about face" to the model on rog's album...

| Re: favorite floydian solo song That pose was not deliberately struck for the album cover, if you believe what Storm Thorgerson says in his "Mind Over Matter" book. Dave didn't even know he was being photographed when he stuck his thumb out like that. Besides, the album was released about a month before Roger's so I'm sure it's probably just a coincidence.
