The Dresden Dolls

"Brechtian Cabaret Punk"

Amanda Palmer is insane and the dude is a pretty cool drummer, and the lyrics are incredibly clever.

I'm in love.. what does everyone else think?

Re: The Dresden Dolls

I downloaded the 4 tracks available form their website. Half Jack and Missed Me were ok but I didnt care much for the other 2. I'll see if I can "aquire" some more of their stuff when I have time

Re: The Dresden Dolls

I saw them doing a cover of Sabbath's War Pigs on the telly, it was interesting. But I think they are a bit too weirdo-ish for my tastes.

Re: The Dresden Dolls

Missed me is like my favourite song by them, and girl anachronism..

Botely, they were meant to open for NIN here a month or so ago and they cancelled for some reason, I hope they come back soon.

Weirdo-ish? Type "Brecht" into google or "epic theatre" and do some reading, they might make more sense after that..

Have any of you paid attention to the lyrics of Missed me, it took me a few listens to get it and then I absolutely lost it laughing...

cheers
