I doubt it. The closest we'll get to seeing the show is the VH1 documentary "Behind the Wall," which shows some of the highlight footage that they shot. If you haven't checked it out, I strongly reccomend it. There's a truncated version of it on Floyd's official website if you download the "Floyd Player" (Basically a collection of videos). Although I believe the original VH1 show was longer, this version has some bits that weren't on the broadcast. As far as a proper release of a show, I don't know if the quality of the footage would warrent it. It might be interesting for Floyd fans as a historical document, but they would have to add a lot more too it or remix it in order to really put it. Really, the highlight footage is great to see, and you can sort of picture what the rest of the show must have looked like from that.

Many of these performances were filmed officially for the band. Roger has the tapes in his possession, so I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a release. A shame really.

i also have the bootleg-video but it's not that great
it's a pity that you rarly see anyone of the floyds because of the darkness sourrounding them - i don't think this would be very different in a professional-sourced video
so we probably just have to go on watching The Wall over and over
what would be very interesting in my opinion is a live-video from an animals-show (i'd like to see roger play the chord-guitar on dogs)

i too would like to see the ITAOT? video/dvd. a well produced version would be better IMO than Pulse AND In The Flesh. all 4 members on video together..... i'd never leave the house!

I'll keep my fingers crossed anyway. The bits from Behind The Wall (That a dumb friend of mine deleted to record Star Wars) really teased me.

Yeah, I heard that Roger owns the rights to the visual part of the show...so it's up to him whether or not it gets released.

Knowing what a bitter big noofty he is I wouldn't hold my breath.

We could send a petition to Rog via this forum .... I mean everybody on this forum wants to see such a video, isn`t it? Maybe Rog just needs to see that there is a real demand for that.

Maybe too that you won`t like my idea ....

Just to remind you all that a petition to get the thing released is currently online at braindamage...
I think that it might or might not work, depending on the number of people who sign it (that is to say, if rog sees that something like 10000 ppl have signed it, he could give it a thought...). Well, I suppose we could at least try.
I personally have already signed it

Also a reminder that the "Behind the Wall" documentary is available as an extra on the "Pink Floyd The Wall" DVD.

It's not the same documentary. The documentaries in the wall dvd are about the film, not the whole concept and the live shows.

I have the broadcasted version of Behind The Wall on VHS. it is great. The live footage definitively is NOT the best live video recording, but that's same like the old Arnold Layne and Astronomy Domine b/w clips, so I don't know what is Roger waiting for.

Roger (ab)used his own idea in a double album, live shows, film, outtakes album (TFC), another live performance (Berlin) resulting in a double live album and a live video and most recently (what's four years of waiting for a Pink Floyd fan? nothing...) another double live album, so why doesn't he release the Wall live video? Does he think the world's overdosed of The Wall? I don't think so.
