Anyone watch No Direction Home?
And if so.... what did you think? I thought it was excellent a really gripping watch if a bit too short Looking forward to it coming out on dvd!

It's been on PBS here in the U.S. for the last two nights.. I caught parts of it.. interesting.. Dylan is a genuis, but wacko.

I liked what I have seen, unfortunately I have not been able to sit down to see the entire thing during PBS' run of it.

Watched both nights, picked up the CD and the DVD. Dylan is an icon and an genius. The beautiful thing about him is that he thinks that he is neither. In his mind he is only what he is and we make him what we want him to be. Very Zen and, well yeah, a little wacko.

I am always fascinated by how music reflects history and can affect history. This story is about all that and more, it is about the very beginning of what we know as rock music and the foundations of bands we love - like Pink Floyd.

Your assignment for the week - watch "No Direction Home" ...
