I agree the drums on "Fat Old Sun" is pretty lame, but I think Nick's playing on "Flaming" is a good contribution in the worst drum performance competition.

Hey, at least he still grooves with the other instruments.

Re: Worst guitar solo

Are you kidding with the final cut?

Dave really lets his emotions out.. You can tell he is hell cut at Roger..

They are really, really, pissed off solos if you ask me.

Re: Worst guitar solo

Yes, the good solos on The Final Cut are the sax ones (I love the solo in "The Gunner's Dream").

I think he meant the title track on "The Final Cut". I don't know if it is his worst guitar solo, but it is a very boring guitar solo. The song also contains one of the worst vocal performances in the Floyd history. But there are some very good solos on the album, but the sax solo on "The Gunner's Dream" is definitively not one of them. It is just terrible.

It's nice, but it is not perfect. It doesn't reach the saxophone parts on Shine On You Crazy Diamond.

It's not really a solo, rather a melody. They re-recorded their album Stay Hungry last year and called it Still Hungry, and added a solo at the end of the melody. If you wanna hear some good Twisted Sister solos, check out Burn In Hell and Plastic Money
