The 'House of the Rising sun', PF song ?

My friends always comes up with burned cds of songs he likes and it's always full of these mistitled songs. He once came up with "hey I finally found out who did smoke on the water, it's AC/DC!!", I was like "first, it's not AC/DC, second, why didn't you ask ME?"
then just the other day, we were listenning to another of his cds and "bad to the bone" came up and he was like "ZZ Top rocks, man". I had to teach him once again about not believing everything they say on the internet "Dude...it's George Thorogood..."

I hate dissapointing him, but he has to learn.

Although the Animals did make the song very famous, I still think CCR did it best, or shall we say with the most emotion. My FAVORITE CCR song is Have you ever seen the rain.
