That is not a PF song...unless you are thinking of "Fat Old Sun" (which I doubt).

Perhaps you could try a Google search using only the title, and then you can find the song you're looking for.

Hope that helps!

FloydWaters is correct: it is indeed NOT a PF song.

"House Of The Rising Sun" is a song by The Animals, "One of the great British bands of the 1960s", famous also for "We've Got To Get Out Of This Place" and "Don't let me be misunderstood."

The question I have is, why are the Animals almost constantly overlooked when people talk about the foundations of modern pop and rock? Almost always the Beatles are credited with being the best ever, but they didn't have any substance until the White album. House of the Rising Sun vs. anything the Beatles did prior to the white album, and the Animals win, hands down. Beatles= most overrated musicians in history.

Sorry, had to get that off my chest.

I met Alan Price (and his very attractive wife) at a party in London when I was drunk (and younger).

I made a complete and total penis of myself.

Gah,

Mark

I also, at the same party, alienated myself somewhat, from the artist who paints for the Sultan Of Brunei and hobnobs with the Monacan Monarchy (not easy to say after a few pints) and of all people, Kenny Lynch.

No word of this is a lie.

Cheers,

Mark
