It's alright. I listen to the clip, read a review, then make a decision on whether or not I should buy the album. It's enough to base a decision off of.

Llo : If you wan to support your artist, go to their shows. Buying CDs only supports the record companies

My uncle's band is the biggest one in his country right now.

He owes it more to distributing music on his own - not record companies. He is greatful for the internet because it gives him a very cheap opportunity to distribute his own music. In his opinion, it's record companies who in the desire for more profits have stifled the market and made it quite disinteresting.

People hear his songs and come for the shows. And he also says that since there are no record companies involved, he can make music like he pleases and doesn't have to go through company executives on what is or what is not acceptable and profitable.

Best of all, the band keeps every dime of what they make.
