LCD Soundsystem

Listen to this band! It is electronic/dance music with a bit of "punk" in it (that's what people say) made by James Murphy. I've been listening to it nonstop for the past month or so.

The self-titled CD has two discs. An LP with unreleased songs, and another disc of all the singles he's released since 2002.

My favorite songs are "Tribulations", "Disco Infiltrator", "Losing My Edge", "Yeah", and "Yr City's a Sucker".

Re: LCD Soundsystem

As I've said, I'm interested in checking them out. But unfortunately people don't give me CDs for free, and it is also unfortunate that I am too lazy to get a job. Don't worry though, it's on my ever growing list of music to be checked out.

Re: LCD Soundsystem

I am extremely anal when it comes to music, for two reasons: 1. I enjoy having the physical CD very much. 2. (and most important) I do not trust strangers to encode music properly.

Oh yeah, and I like to support the artist. Call me old fashioned.

I agree, but financial woes turned me to the dark side of downloading. It's like drugs, you don't want to do it but it's right there, staring at you.

Yes, I know what you mean...I won't be getting much music for the next few months.

Re: LCD Soundsystem

Then I must recommend to you Yahoo Launchcast radio. Although if you aren't a Yahoo DSL customer you have to pay for it separate.

Re: LCD Soundsystem

I just go to f.y.e. dot com and listen to all of my music in low-quality 30 second clips. And it's free!!!!

Re: LCD Soundsystem

It's about the best you are going to get for free without actually pirating.
