Some Cool News....

OK.. I know we're a Pink Floyd site here..but I'm pretty stoked about this..

I have been asked to join a local RUSH tribute band called "Bravado". Heh.. I get to be Alex..

This is cool, their old guitar player is having to move out of town (real world job calling).. They didn't even hold auditions, they just gave me a call. (OK, I've been friends with two of them for a few years).

I will definately play with them through the winter. I'll be quite busy come spring, so we'll see what the schedule holds when it get's here.

I only hope they called on me for my abilities on guitar, and not for my resemblance to Alex's girth and ability to eat cheese..

Oh well.. even if.. Bring on the Gouda!!!!

Oh yeah.. Now I just need to convince my wife that I need to get a Hughes and Kettner amp and a couple of PRS's..

Fulghum, best thing to do is don't tell the wife, just get the equipment you need and deal with the consequences later.

Fulghum, if you look at the christmas thread, you'll see that you allready own a PRS... Though no H&K... Great news btw, excellent! I wanna hear the "A Passage to Bangkok" solo and so much more.
