Re: Seeking '69 shows

The "Man and the Journey" shows are worth collecting, the rest tend to sound almost exactly like Ummagumma, but with even worse sound and extra tuning noises in between songs. For example, the Sound Resounds Around boot.

After you've got all the "Man/Journey" material I'd advise you to look for recordings from 1970 instead, they're always a hoot.

Re: Seeking '69 shows

They did some BBC Sessions in 1969, and the Zabriskie Point sessions were also in 1969. I'd grab, from Harvested, "BBC Archives 67-69 Rev A", and "Ultimate Zabriskie Point". And on "UZP" you also get Moonhead which was also 1969, the moonlanding music they did (that rocks). I don't know how to put the links in here, but go to this site and look them up:

The ZP movie actually came on tv the other day, I watched some of it, I couldn't stand all of it though. All these hippy college students talking alot about some type of revolution but not doing anything, really. And I turned it off before I suspect the sex came on.
