Heh a Quoteman what about this one above when did you make up your mind after the cowboys lost to the broncos? Who's your next fave team the colts? In my town there is only one team no rootin' for whoever is winning. Its still The Eagles

Re: Super Bowl Favorites????????

Whoa, settle down there, partner. It really doesn't matter when I made up my mind, now does it?? I think it's been pretty clear that I've wanted the Broncos to take the AFC Championship back to Denver; maybe even a couple of Super Bowl rings too.

And hometown pride doesn't mean a thing when it comes to rooting for a great football team -- it doesn't matter where you live. When it all comes down to it, I just want to see some great games of football this year, which I already have.

And Mark, theres never just one team.

Re: Super Bowl Favorites????????

Well for me there is just one team but I respect your opinion and I apologize for comin' at you a little heavy there but its been a rough season around these parts. It just all seemed to fall apart for my Eagles this year for alot of reasons. But your right there still have been some great games this year. Like The Eagles win against the Chargers when they Blocked a field goal at the end of the game and Matt Ware picked it up and took it to the house for the win. And if my Eagles don't make it as it looks now to be a real slim chance I'll still watch the playoffs and enjoy them. So good luck with your Broncos Animal and We'll see.

If the Eagles make it, I'll do a naked dance on my front lawn.

No kidding. Go Philly.

Re: Super Bowl Favorites????????

Great game on Monday Night Football -- Colts & Steelers. I was suprised to see Pittsburg struggle as they did, but Big Ben has been out for almost a month, so he had to get back into the swing of things.

The Colts looked great in the first quarter, although by the second they looked to be having a hard time. But, they came back in the second half and put up some more points, and held the Steelers to 7. There were probably about 476 penalties in the entire game -- lots of careless & stupid ones.

They probably won't make it this year, but McNabb's having his surgery so he'll be healthy for next season. Like I said, Mr. T.O. wasn't a great loss or anything, but all of that commotion sure didn't help the team any.

The AFC is probably going to come down to either the Broncos or the Bengals against the Colts, at Indianapolis.

The NFC is a bit more unpredictable. The Bears, Seahawks, Panthers, Cowboys, Falcons -- it's going to be interesting to watch.

Re: Super Bowl Favorites????????

Oh man, what a disapointing loss today by the Broncos to the Chefs. Both teams were neck & neck in the first half, but by the second, it seemed K.C. had really stepped up to stop Denver. Arrowhead is a tough stadium to play in, really tough. It was a great game of ball, however, and I guess that's the important thing.

It looks as if perhaps the AFC isn't as water tight as I thought it would be. K.C. is still in the race, along with San Diego & Jacksonville. Of course, Indianapolis has already clinched a spot in the playoffs, and Denver & Cinncinatti seem to be the front runners. But, anything can still happen. Hell, New England's still in this thing.

The NFC has stayed basically the same, but Atlanta got knocked back; they're now behind Tampa Bay & Carolina in their division. The 'Hawks & da Bears are still leading their divisions, and Dallas got beaten today so they're below the Giants.

It's been one hell of a year so far, and the rest looks to be promising.

It should be a great game. That's awesome if it's going to snow; football is always much more fun while it's either snowing or raining.

Disappointing indeed. The tiresome cliche "it's a game of inches" was certainly
the defining feature.
If Jake would have just run it in for the TD on that bootleg instead of throwing into coverage [interception ], it would have been a different game.
Oh well, that's football.
