I'd agree with that. I'd also add something from TFC besides Fletcher Memorial Home. It's a bit pretentious and not a good example of the album.

Hmm, I don't know, I don't really care, Greatest Hits collections stink, you must listen to albums as a whole to see the full picture, I have not bought Echoes.

This is what I'm listening to right now!

NNJ, I think "The Gunner's Dream" or the title track would've been a more appropriate choice to represent TFC. At least, those are the two I find the most emotionally compelling.

Actually I think the last track is the best on the entire album, but putting it on a best of would be like telling a punchline, without the rest of the joke.

I would have suggested that one too...but, I held back for opposite reasons: the impact might be lessened without the listener going through the emotional ride of the entire album.

The only emotional ride I would go through with that album was bemoaning the fact that I'd spent money on it (even if I'd bought it second hand for fifty pence), frankly.
