Under-appreciated; "Any Colour You Like"

In the early version of the album, which was entitled "Eclipse: A Piece For Assorted Lunatics" and was performed several times live in 1972, some of the songs were actually different. The Great Gig In The Sky was The Mortality Sequence and was a totally different piece of music. On The Run as we know it didn't exist and in that place there was this piece called Travelling Section, which basically was an instrumental jam.
It's very interesting to listen to these early live performances and you can easily find many ROIOs documenting those concerts.

If not, he is highlighting the correct name of the unreleased instrumental, The Travel Section, as opposed to your slightly incorrect, absolutely not exactly, "The TravelLING Section"

I just got hold of Dream Theater's live DSotM, and Any Colour You Like is the most stretched out kickarse version I've heard anywhen. Brilliant.

I agree that it's an underrated song. I love the synths on that one, and Dave's solo is tasteful (as always! ) I love how his tone "shimmers" throughout that solo. Neat use of overdubbing to get those "call and response" type guitar phrases as well!
