Rush DVD

Hey! I'm sure a bunch of Floyd fans here are into Rush, like myself. Anyway, I just got an advanced copy of the new double-disc DVD set from Rush called "R30" (I have a buddy who works at universal). It has a live concert from last year's 30th anniversary world tour on the first disk, and let me tell you, the quality is astonishing. They shot the concert with 14 seperate high quality HD video cameras. The sound is also bar-none. I've never seen a concert video quite like this one before. The second DVD contains archived concert footage from old Rush performances as well as a number of interviews spanning their career. The official release date is Nov. 22.

It's on my Christmas list... I was at the 30th anniversary concert when they came through Salt Lake in 2004. It was a GREAT show..

I have, and really enjoy, the Rush in Rio DVD, but as you have said, I have heard that the video and audio quality of R30 just blow it away...
