World Football Cup 2006 in Germany

After finding all the qualified teams for the World Cup, it's time to start arguing who has better arguments to win the cup. Germany plays in home, Brazil is the detainer of the cup, Italy, England, France and Argentina are always candidates to win and... careful with U.S.A., is very close of the best teams of the world! Portugal... i don't believe!

And portuguese people are very happy because 3 teams qualified speak portuguese: Portugal, Brazil and Angola.

My bet goes to ... Brazil again! They have a great team with great players and better arguments.

Which is your bet?

My bet goes to Brazil, I hope England will win, but don't forget the Czech Republic. They can be a big surprise and have lots of great players including Peter Cech, who after watching the play off match between the Czech Republic and Norway, definitively must be the best goalkeeper in the world. In the World Cup also Jan Koller probably will be able to play. He is currently injured.

I agree, a complete waste of a champions league final shirt, but what hell, congrats to the Aussies anyway, 32 years since they last made it so its been a long time between drinks.

I think Brazil or Germany will win it. A South American team has only ever won it once when hosted in europe and whilst I dont think Germany are exactly that great at the moment I seem to remember they weren't last time around and still made it the final, (I still say Scotland could have got the final with the draw the Germans got ) They also have home advantage this time around so I'll vote Germany. Although as a self respecting Englishman I hope they either lose 5-1 or get knocked out on penalties, serves em right

Aha so the time is now that all the teams that are going to be there are known! Well being bias and english (well scouse anyways!) I say we will win........until we get knoced out in a drama...probably unfairly, according to our press, with 2 clear goals disallowed with a dodgy referee and a lot of unfair tactics by the opposition, non the less our boys will come home to the tune of "WE WUZ ROBBED.....again! Seriously i am wayy excited by the world cup and always have been, my choice for the world champions goes to......(enter drum roll) Brazil (always a favourite) or the Czechs!

yeah.. one and the same..

I don't know what he's like over there, but he was good for us. Considering Australian football/soccer isn't exactly the best in the world..
We're too fixated with our own footy code and of course rugby

Why didn't you put all the qualified teams in the poll. I don't think even USA was an option.
