I ate part of a cow heart once. It just tasted like roast. But the thought of it kinda freaks me out now.

I agree with brown sauce on an egg banjo but for me its got to be tomato ketchup on a chip butty . It might interest you to know that the fish and chip shops in Inverness put salt and (brown) sauce on your chips ( if requested). For someone who has spent a lifetime researching the chip shops in Aberdeen, where they only dish out salt and vinegar, this was truly a culture shock. How about Liverpool? Is it salt and vinegar...salt and sauce?

Fresh Rocky Mountain Oysters...fresh from the young bull. Branded, castrated, and dehorned the beasts in the morning and deep-fried the jewels for lunch.

I miss my Colorado days as a youth!

I, however, wouldn't touch RM oysters with a long stick.

True for me too these days. As I look back, I'm not sure how I slid them down the throat even then.

I'll blame it on my youth and the fact that one calf kicked me in the chin not an hour earlier. I must've been out for revenge!

Re: Ewwww! Whats the weirdest thing you've eaten?

Veal head was really common in Croatia. Like roasting the whole head. People liked different parts, some even ate the eyes. I remember eating the cheeks cos they had the nice fleshy bits of meat.

Looking back on that now, and being vegetarian.. ewwwww!

oh and, when i was at conference last yr (totally looking fwd to this again) We had the carb sandwich. The unhealthiest thing on the face of the planet but so good at a 3 am when exceedingly drunk.. Two pieces of white bread, store bought pasta salad and cheese and onion crisps, make sandwich..

oh god that stuff was good!

cheers
