Re: Gilmour On "Tour"

Till I see dates in the USA posted I'm not gettin' all excited. The last time was over 10 years ago if I'm not mistaken. And whats up with Nick going on tour with Dave? Is there any truth to it?Who knows? Will Pulse DVD ever get released in my lifetime? We can only Hope.

Re: Gilmour On "Tour"

Pulse was scheduled for release on DVD December 20th. That date has now been pushed back to January 17th.
But it IS coming out!!
I'd also die for the release of the video footage from the live performances of 1980-81

Re: Gilmour On "Tour"

My fellow Floyd fan colleague at work told me about this tour and David's new dedicated website with info on priority booking...but did I log on and chase up the priority tickets before offer close...did I hell!

So now I have to be like the other proles and hope to acquire tickets in the normal way...if they are not already sold out to greedy bastards and touts.

BTW, my Friend in Floyd at work is a member of the "rival" fan site, Plink Floyd & Co. Ewwww!

Talking Re: Gilmour On "Tour"

YAY! I spent about an hour on the phone this morning, but I've finally got tickets to the Royal Albert Hall show on the 30th May! I can't wait!!!

They sold out so unbelievably quickly this morning... by 10AM at least. I managed to get some of the very last available.

My story is amazingly similar!!! After faffing about on their website (which then crashed at about 9:30), I spent another hour on the phone only to learn that my order on the website had, in fact, gone through.

But the kind chap on the phone told he could get me a far better seat than the one I'd been allocated through the website, so a swap was made, and on 30 May I'll be sitting back to watch the big guy in action for the first time ever.

Can't wait. The credit card bill, on the other hand, can take as long as it wants.

Re: Gilmour On "Tour"

Man, there is no way can I afford to spend £65 on a ticket and to fly to London... And the cheaper ones are restricted view. Nope, sorry Dave...
