Re: Gilmour On "Tour"

I find it quite hilarious to call two dates in the same venue a ''tour''.

Re: Gilmour On "Tour"

Wait, he's doing a few more dates after all. He's even coming to Amsterdam, I thought he was only going to do two shows in London and that would be it. I'm still not interested in seeing him, though. Hmm, and maybe I was a bit too harsh on him also then.

Re: Gilmour On "Tour"

I'm really not interested in seeing him solo. I'm giving the album a chance though, I'll get it when it comes out. I'm more interested in Roger's two new albums though, whenever they are going to be released.

Re: Gilmour On "Tour"

Please, i get it. You're all fed up with the guy... But please, enough now. Some of us wanna see him before he dies. I for one is entranced by his guitarsound, and he is the absolute guitarhero of me. So please, leave the negative remarks back home, be kind to me. Because i cant take it. You spoiled brats, a small tour is better than no tour. Now please answer my last questions, they are disappering in all your whining.

Re: Gilmour On "Tour"

I agree with Ablaze. I don't know if "On an Island" will be interesting or not but the man can still play guitar as he showed us all at Live8. It will still be a pleasure to listen to him playing some oldies and if Rick or Nick pop up with him in some venue or other that will definetly be a bonus.

He doesn't seem to be in the mood for moving his arse a lot but I think that if he felt like doing a complete world tour perhaps he would do it again after a different name... one which would be capable of attracting more people to the concerts. After all we know and appreciate him because we are Pink Floyd fans. Remember that Roger Waters couldn't tour with ATD some time ago.

I can't believe people respect this person so much. Two dates to support your new album?! As if that isn't enough he also does it AT THE SAME PLACE. This man's arrogance is incredible. Is he like disabled or something? He can't handle more than two dates? It's not like I want to go see him or something but I do believe that only two dates in London is an insult to most of your fans. I do believe it was fellow old fart Roger who was planning to do a world tour to support his not one but two new studio albums? I could be wrong about this but I do believe it's so called arrogant prick Roger who is going to do more than fucking two dates. Also with the whole Live 8 thing it turned out David was the one being a bitch for the most part. His music ain't anything brilliant either so as far as I'm concerned he can stay in bed

Its up to him where he plays and how many shows he wants to do, maybe hes not interested in taking a barrel load of money.

When it comes to live performance hes a heck of alot better than waters anyway. Its unbelievable that this is a pink floyd forum, so many people on here want to suck waters knob off and get torn into dave.

I got my tickets for the Milan concert on march 25th. No great expectations for the upcoming album but I definitely want to be there.
