That's the kind of remark that may precipitate an early return.

Re: Gilmour On "Tour"

Just nabbed tickets for the Wed 4/5/06 show at Radio City Music Hall. They're nosebleed seats, but it'll be good to see BDG again!

Can't wait!

Sweet, I just nabbed 4th row centre (and I mean dead centre) tickets for the Toronto show as Massey Hall. This is the greatest day ever!

Re: Gilmour On "Tour"

I'll be going to the Aprl 9th Massey Hall show. I have to drive from Detroit, but I have a feeling it will be worth it. Row S, main floor.

I don't know about shoving up his arse - but I agree. Good seats are over $300. Really good seats are over $700 - and both Massey or Radio City are over 5 hour drive. Too much and too far for an old fart like me. Unless it was the entire band.

I'm sure he'll sell out. No matter what. No need to accomodate his greater audience and die hard fans. Unfortunately.

Row D (I'm assuming 4th for), seats 28 and 29, so right in front of Dave I guess. I tried Ticketmaster, but they were sold out, so I called Massey Hall, and when they told me 4th row centre from the stage I thought they were lying. I called back a few hours later just to make sure, and I got my tickets today.

After I hung up I was thinking I should have asked for tickets for the 2nd night, I mean if they're gonna give me such kick ass seats.

Hey man it looks like I'll be right near you. See you there!

And no doubt if it was £15 you'd find something else to moan about.

Bah humbug to you too Cheese-man.

I'm angry because Big Dave came up small with his city selections in the USA. I guess Philly ain't a bigger market than Toronto or Chicago. Give me a break Dave. Get the real band back together while you still are all alive and put down the petty arguments and make one last go of it. you big

Sorry, my friend, but I don't agree with those sentiments.

Sure I'd love to see Pink Floyd together again, but David obviously still has some things he would like to do WITHOUT Pink Floyd, and I say good for him. This project and small tour is what he wants to do with music right now, so I respect him for that and I'm very happy I'll be going to see him perform in London (I'm flying over from Belfast).

Maybe when he gets the 'non-floyd' urges out of his system he'll be ready to do the big act again. Just have to wait and see.

Re: Gilmour On "Tour"

Maybe he's doing this tour as a dry run kind of thing, to see if he wants to go on the road with the band and do it all over again.

Re: Gilmour On "Tour"

The man is a musician, its his job. Im sure he has enough money from touring over the years, so this is purely for his want to make music. Also, he probably doesnt want the pressure to be on him right now to make another pink floyd album. this is his music and he wants to do it his way, and i say good for him.
