So... what PF songs can everyone play on guitar?

This is probably going to get redundant but I was just curious. List anything you can play, PF or solo, without looking at a tab, all the way through.

The only exception is creativity. For example, if you play Fat Old Sun like Gilmour did on his DVD, without the solo, it still counts.

"Cymbaline" and "Julia Dream" are also pretty easy to play. I've always wanted to form an acoustic band to cover exclusively Floyd songs.

I usually come up with my own solos instead of Gilmour's, cause I can't sound like him anyway.

Good thing! I've always preferred guitar players who play their own style instead of those who imitate others (for example, I like Snowy White's solos when he plays in his own way, not when he mimicks Gilmour's).

Every single song from Meddle-The Wall, plus most of the post Waters stuff but not quite all. I don't know any solo stuff, unfortunately.

I can play and sing all of Roger's (not Eric's) parts from The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking, it's a neat party trick.

Uh. I know Breathe i think, but thats almost all. If we are talking the whole song.... Kind of funny to be honest.

Well, I can play the very beginning of WYWH, I have never bothered to learn any others.

I was fooling around with If, maybe their easiest song?

I can play Money, WYWH, Pigs on the Wing, Green is the Color, Cymbaline, Flaming, Wots uh the Deal, Mother...currently working on Shine On.

Oh, did I say only one song? I meant all of them, silly me.

I think it would probably take me a lifetime to learn all of their songs. And I don't have that much time on my hands nor do I really care about knowing how to play all those songs. I'd rather just try to write some of my own stuff instead...

I do my own writing as well....
But if you love playing Floyd music as much as I do, what's to stop me from learning all of their stuff?
