Re: Lejjy's getting a tattoo

I've seen 22 year old people regretting tattoos they took at 18.

Re: Lejjy's getting a tattoo

I totally agree with you though I didn't want to post in this thread giving my opinion about wether to get or not a tattoo. In fact, Sydney is just asking our opinion about the designs she has in mind and I really liked the henna one chosen by Pearl Waters but since Sydney already has a similar one... I think it is really beautiful.

Anyway, going back to the point Strat made. I don't think we are always the same person. Of course there are certain inner characteristics and tendencies that don't change easily but, on the whole, we are always subject to change and this can be great a lot of times.

One thing I like about snakes is that they change their skins. I really like to believe in change (for the better, of course).

And as far as the tattoo goes, if you like it go for it!

Re: Lejjy's getting a tattoo

I don't think the issue here is whether or not Lejjy will get a tattoo, but rather which tattoo she'll get.

All those look a bit geometric, to me. Were I embarked on the path of pigmentary self-mutilation, I think I'd look for something with curves. People aren't made of straight lines.

Would you get a tattoo in your "moments"?

Re: Lejjy's getting a tattoo

Nope, don't think I ever would. You hear about people that get one while they're pissed. But even then I appear to be too sensible for it.

I think Sydney should go for the ol' battleship across the chest.

True also, but such is not always the case. However, I do agree that a majority of tattoos that are gotten will be regretted eventually. But it's also usually the ones that people didn't put much thought into in the first place.

I have friends with tattoos that are exceedingly dumb and some of them have regretted them before even having them a year.
Then again, I also have a friend who got dragon tattoos on his arms in a couple places fresh out of high school, and now, 15 or so years later, he's shopping around for even more.

True. Who's to say I'll even live to see 45. I'm more of a 'live for today' kind of chick anyway.

I'm turning 45 in a few days, and I'm wondering the same thing.
