Re: Trees, man

Eddy and Strat ~ Yep. Spent hours as a kid aiming a rock at those fruit which were out of reach and which were too far away fro a climb. All this practice at chucking rocks helped me later on in life when I had to chuck grenades Sometimes we boys would gang up on trees and share the booty.

Man, I miss sucking on Tamarind or Jamun (Black plum/Java plum) freshly poached from roadside trees. I still remember going home with a purple tongue and waking up with a sore throat the next day from over indulgence on Jamun.

And yes have had my own scrapes with the local bobby or with an irate resident whose peace was (occassionaly) disturbed as a misfired rock crashed through the apartment window

You'd get a lot more apples down with a well placed grenade!

Are you aware that there is a magazine available called Tree News? Apparently 'bringing trees and people together'!

Michael L. Kennedy (son of Robert) got together with a tree a few years ago here in nearby Aspen...unfortunately for him, he was going about 60 mph down a ski slope when the tree introduced itself. He's dead.

Talking Re: Trees, man

I like trees that are made into paper. I also like useing chips of certain trees on the grill to help meat taste better. The trees used for my house I like too. And the tree used for my guitars were good too.

I like to roll up a tree and let the night take me where it will.
