your concerts in 2005

I thought you might write down the best concerts of this year you attended...i know there is some thread like these, “approaching concerts” and “i don;t know the name, but basically folks spoke about concerts they went to”, anyway, just write down what you enjoyed teh most

So

In my case:
Kraftwerk (Beograd)
Sigur Ros (NY)
Laytron (Exit festival, Novi Sad)
Mizar (Beograd)
Ian Brown (Exit festival, Novi Sad)
White Stripes (Exit festival, Novi Sad)
Ladytron (DJ Set by 2 members, NY)
REM (Beograd)

//The Who and Pink Floyd who kicked ass on l8, only from tv

Cheers, and greeting to you all my floydian guys and gals around the world
And appologies, i totally forgot to say merry xmas to you all (well that day i had exam, and anyway, we still have 10 days to our xmas...)

Vesna

Re: your concerts in 2005

Unfortunately I didn't go to many concerts this year.

I saw Spoon, M83, Circa Survive...and I think that's it.

Re: your concerts in 2005

Unfortunately, it only consists of two.

-The Australian Pink Floyd Show
-Blue Oyster Cult

It ALMOST included Jethro Tull, but, when I got around to ordering tickets... it was too late.

The only one I made it to this year was Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Re: your concerts in 2005

I managed to see almost fifty different bands this year. The highlights were ones I wasn't working security at, obviously - NIN being the most impressive. The Mars Volta also won me over, despite the fact that I was paying more attention to the crowd than the band itself.

Re: your concerts in 2005

Yeah, there's no way I'll be able to remember them all but that figure is probably pretty close to correct.

Re: your concerts in 2005

Let's see.. everything I went to was good so...

Which One's Pink? - awesome PF tribute (January 18th, the Canyon Club, Agoura Hills, CA)
Blue Oyster Cult (March 19th, the Canyon Club, Agoura Hills, CA)
Which One's Pink? (March 25th, Paladino's, Tarzana, CA)
ZZ Top (June 10, Las Vegas Hilton, Las Vegas, NV)
Pink Floyd (July 2, on live TV)
Motley Crue (August 11, Blossom Music Center, Cuyahoga Falls, OH)
Which One's Pink? (November 5th, the Canyon Club, Agoura Hills, CA)
Which One's Pink? (December 10th, Paladino's, Tarzana, CA)

I think that's it. It seems like there's more than that but I think that's it.

It seems like a lot of you are living in the past...did you know that there are new bands that are actually very very good sounding?

Re: your concerts in 2005

I haven't seen anyone for about 5 years

Vesna, did you really enjoy Ian Brown? I saw him in 1999 and he made me realise I'm only the second worst singer in the world.

Re: your concerts in 2005

well I really like his voice, and think he;s great singer and artist, i mean songs really are something. i just don;t know, i enjoy them... (also i like stone roses very very much)

but to tell you the truth, his concert attitude is like this: he looks like the most bored person in the world, just sings and dances a bit, you know, looks like me when i had biology classes in high school (waiting bell to ring )
