The future of APFFN

I often wonder, what's the future of APFFN gonna be like? How long is it gonna exist? Is it gonna live on forever or will it just disappear once? I somehow find it hard to believe I'll still sit here in 20 years, but it is possible. Maybe the ''golden age'' someone once spoke of, is yet to come.

Just some random bullshit that was on my mind at the time of writing.

It'll be around as long as Paulo doesn't get tired of it.

Yeah, I also think it depends on Paulo. There are new people here all the time that can 'carry the flame', in case we get bored of it.

I think we will be taken over by aliens following some great war. Large rodents will rule the earth, and prey on the meek..who shall not have inherited the earth. Lars will be replaced by a 'speak your weight' machine and will issue cigarette cards depicting early flying machines. Dr Cheese will have undergone plastic surgery for the sixth time and will look like his boyhood hero, David Moyes. I will be in a APFFN nursing home, where my every whim will be ignored. Thats about it.

That was surgery attempt number 3. For the uninitiated, here is the full surgery listings for the 'Many faces of Dr Cheese' *cue chart music*

Number 1 -Ian MCulloch-surgery went hideously wrong and he ended up looking like Rich Astley

Number 2-Elizabeth Taylor- this surgery was prompted by watching the film National Velvet after a night's drinking in Kirby (which lasted 2 months) on sobering up Cheese remarked (in a scouse accent) “seemed like a good idea at the time”. However the cut price surgeon, Dr Nick ( hellllooo everybody) misunderstood the instruction, and he ended up looking more like Mickey Rooney than Elizabeth Taylor.

Number 3- Dame Edna Everage- Cheese had been a long time admirer of Dame Edna. Some say it was the frocks, some say it was the rapier sharp wit. However Cheese found that he couldn't master the Antipodean accent, and having Dame Edna say “calm down, calm down” in scouseese (the dialect) was ruining the whole image. Time to try again.

Number 4- Probably the best looking of the Dr Who reincarnations. Cheese went footy mad, and had the surgeon remodel in the style of David Moyes, Everton Football Manager. Cheese had professed to be a Liverpool supporter but his childhood chums knew that he was only 'glory hunting' and deep down he
was a 'true blue'.

Number5- After Everton’s disastrous season, Cheese decided to make a protest and have his face remodelled (again) this time he wanted to look like Paul McCartney. Dr Cheese figured looking like one of the mop tops would open many doors in his home city. Unfortunately some of the doors remained closed, and thus damaged his now rather brittle face. This is a common occurrence in celebrities who have had constant plastic surgery reconstruction (see Michael Jackson et al).

Number 6- Dr Nick put the pieces of putty and surgical wax back together as best he could. Unfortunately he still ended up looking like David Moyes.

Number7- disastrously wrong- however if you want to glimpse at the results of the overuse of plastic surgery Have a look at this …..gawd luv us

You have to remember that he's a very old man, who has undergone a great deal of surgery over the years.
