Any Canadians out there to give advice?

Hi all............

I'm researching areas of Canada with a view to moving over within the next couple of years with my brood....
and my head is getting really mashed
Can any of you peeps living out there shed any light on the kinds of things each province is known for and the lifestyles we could expect? ie Weather, popular occupations, education etc...indeed anything you guys can tell me.

Who knows, I may get to meet some of you one day

Toronto is where you want to be. Mild summers, crisp winters, and all the benefits of a multicultural city. Just a shame there was such a spike in the rate of gun violence last year... nothing to worry about if you don't bother the wrong people.

one of the top three locations in the world to settle is Vancouver BC.
it is not as far away as New Zealand - the top spot to settle, and, for what it's worth, Las Vegas the second top spot, which is cool if you are into the desert and hookers and all But if you are looking for Canada - Toronto is pretty darn nice and not that far from NY State.

Make sure you speak Canadian before you move. It's so hard to grasp that people have resorted to speaking ENGLISH AND FRENCH!!

I heard my granfather speak canadian once. It was very slow so I left the room

Yeahhh... Toronto. It's a nice place to live. There is tons of different things to do for all ages. Pretty good schools. The weather is usually pretty good (surprisingly our winter hasn't been bad at all yet this year). Yes, this is where you want to be. Ask somebody who visited here and ended up staying for 4 months (Peter... i.e. peewak).

La plus belle place au Canada c'est le Québec. C'est l'endroit ou est ce qu'il y a la plus belle culture (Francaise). On se croirait en Europe tandis que l'Ontario ressemple plus aux USA mais en moin riche! Viens au Québec.

^ what he said

I've never been in Toronto for more than 3 hours so I can't really compare and say wich one's the greatest, but Québec is a really really nice place to live.

I'm not a canadian, but have been to Quebec many times, and it is very nice. However, if you are a skiier or snowboarder, I have heard that BC is amazing.
