Adware!!!!!

Hey, i'm so sorry for posting this here but this was the only forum i was signed up at that i could get to. I need to know a good adware/spyware program that is free that i can download off the internet.Thanks!!!!!!

best app for spyware, malware and so it I feel is Ewido. First 30 days it has all the features, after that it still allows updates and scanning but some of the advanced features are turned off. Even with these features turned off it is still one of the strongest out there.

I feel it's the best. If you using IE stop!!!! or at least get Google Toolbar

AdAware has worked pretty well for me, I can't say whether or not it is better than Ewido, though.

I've got Webroot Spy Sweeper, and I have not had any problems.

Download and install Firefox, an open source code, linux based browser, for your browser first. Unlike IE and Netscape and all the others, it controls a lot of spyware and had built in pop-up blockers (that often contain spyware) etc. The conversion and carryover of your current bookmarks is simple. It is compatible with adaware for further protection. Your ISP probably has a firewall too- use it. Set your cookies to only accept from originating source.

I can't believe that the internet has gotten this "dangerous" to use. It's pretty sad actually.

Use Firefox, or Opera, or whatever (Flock, K-meleon and things like that...), but DO NOT use Internet Explorer. Oh, yes, stay away from bad sites...

Tell me about it. Viruss, worms, spyware. They all trake what your doing just to get you to buy something even though you'll probably never buy it.

I dont know what is more annoying, spyware or telemarketers. Whever im home on break from school and my parents are at work, i get constant call from these people. "Hello, can i talk to so and so"... Are you kidding me? Guess what there doing, the same thing you are, they're at work... moron.

I get angry at stuff like this.

Firefox is the way to go and a great spyware program is spybot search and destroy, fully free, and fully functional protection for your PC

I think Zone Alarm Pro is a good tool ;also as mentioned above using I.E. 5/6 or newer is prone to spywares/adwares in dangerous ways.Use a Firefox and If you want to use IE then install zonealarm pro then make a list of your most common sites ;place their urls in the "Safe-High Security Zone" or flag them orange and for sites that you are not so sure about just put an alert for them( i.e. don't put any url's but a blank!) so that whenver a spyware or a breach of security occurs you will be shown the popup and then you can choose toblock it or accept it.

Microsoft Antispyware is rumoured to be good too, and its free. (At the moment at least)

I've used Spybot for some time, and it works really well. It's free of charge so that's a bonus.
