english isn't my native language, and i wasn't quite interested in PF lyrics... especially the Gilmour era (mainly because people don't talk much about his lyrics). but when i really pay attention to the Lost for Words lyrics, i think it's all about Roger.

Really? Everyone seriously thinks "enemies" (plural) refers to one person?

I think Poles Apart was about Roger.

If WYWH was an album about Syd, then TDB is an album about Roger. The connection is logical, musically as well as lyrically. So I think it's not accidential that Lost For Words sounds similar to "Wish you were here"

Has anyone ever wondered (as I have) if "No Way" on Gilmour's first solo album was directed at Waters...From all I have read, including the above quoted post, the dissension amongst the ranks had been in effect for some point at the time of this album (David Gilmour). Either way, it's a great song from a kickarse album...

Gilmour has said the first verse is about Syd and the second's about Roger. No ambiguity there.
