Careful with that Axe

In fact, the song has its genesis in the music created for a film called The Committee, which Pink Floyd produced almost immediately after Dave joined the band.

First version of "Careful With That Axe" can be found on 'THE COMMITTEE' soundtrack (1968) under the track title "Murderistic Woman."

There is a CD called PINK FLOYD/1967: THE FIRST 3 SINGLES released by EMI records (all 6 tracks are in re-mastered MONO). The greatest-sounding singles collection of the Floyd I've ever heard!
