Bit Torrent/P2P help. And by help I mean PLEASE GOD HELP ME!!

I now have this program called BitLord for downloading programs but it's not uploading/downloading crap and my LimeWire is gone because I'm stupid (long story) so is there anybody out there who can help out of this predicament? It'd be much appreciated.

Ok, I downloaded BitLord to my computer. Searched for some episodes of Lost, and the p2p program LimeWire. I let these thing try to download for like three days and nothing happened. It just keeps saying "Uploading" but NOTHING EVER HAPPENS! I was just wondering if I could get some help on how to fix this, or go about it a whole new way.

Thanks for replying by the way, I was getting kind of worried.

Some torrent sites are banning programs like like Bitlord and Bitcomet for reasons which are too techie for a simple guy like me to understand. Try using Azureus or Bit Tornado. You also need to make sure whatever file you are trying to download is actually being seeded (uploaded) by someone. If no-one is actually seeding it you have little chance of downloading the whole thing.

I feel azureus is the best to use. give it a shot and see what you can do with it. from there i can really be of more help to you, as i had my own learning process getting mine to work properly. but now that alls peachy it flies.

I have LimeWire Pro now (free of course) so I no longer need this BitLord. Thank you all for trying to get me out of this dilemma.

I use p2p also, the StrongDC++ client, it's easy to share and make your connection settings right... I recommended this program also.

Since you guys seem to know a bit about bittorrents, anyone know of a good site that has PF variety downloads?

there are places where you can get one file that has the whole PF discography on it, I will PM it to you since forums generally dont like to get to directly involved in such "copyright infringement"
