Wow, thanks guys! In relation to the lyrics to "When the Tigers Broke Free", where did you get them? I now know that the lyrics to "What Shall We Do Now?" are on the inside of the LP!

"When the Tigers Broke Free" was released for the first time on "Echoes: the best of Pink Floyd" compilation album two or three years ago (or is it four or five years...how time flies eh?). The lyrics to each song are printed on the sleeve.

Hope that helps.

There is nothing better than the satisfaction of being right.

It increases exponentially with the amount of certainty the OTHER person has that THEY are right.

"Tigers" was also released as a single in 1982, and can now be found as a bonus track on the most-recently reissued Pink Floyd album The Final Cut

Re: pink floyd the wall film

You are quite mistaken about "travel east".

As for TFC being remastered before Echoes came out: yes, only without the "Tigers" bonus track. And I don't see how that has anything whatsoever to do with it being included on an orchestral tribute album.

I love when the tigers broke free. and that empty spaces medley thing is great, pity they left them out.

I take it everyone already knows just after that empty spaces in the film, the old woman running away with the cylinder vacuum cleaner forgets the much needed hose.

Re: pink floyd the wall film

What Shall We Do Now was meant to be on the album, but I read somewhere that it was to long so they kept the music and changed it to Empty Spaces. Then when it was decided that they were to make the album into a film, they decided to include it then! The animation for What Shall We Do Now is fantastic! Bow down to they great Gerald Scarfe
