I would love for the end solo to be 10 times longer... THis track is amazing... cannot wait to get the album... seeing him in Hamburg in the front row will be AMAZING.... God BLess BDG!!!!!!

Hmmm it's ok... I hope the rest of the album is stronger to be honest, dont get me wrong, I think its good by any standards, but not great.
I miss the signature Gilmour Strat sound too, though that may be the poor quality of my ears. To be honest I cant figure out if its play on a LP or not.

I agree with Nik. The middle solo is AMAZING, but the rest of the song is just ok, not great (IMHO).

I quite like it. The harmonies are excellent (as only BDG can do). Some of my favorite Gilmour solo songs are the slower ballads (i.e. Near the End). Do wish the end solo was developed more...

I think it's great. The lyrics is good, the solo is amazing, and the vocal harmonies are awesome. And the track is growing everytime I listen to it.

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed. The solo is good (not extraordinary), and that's about it.

The more I listen to it the more I really like it. I really like the solo, I am in no way disapointed with it. I hope the album version lets the final solo develop a little more. I think that this album will be amazing. His voice, his playing, the songwriting, the lyrics..... I am very happy right now.

Thanks for the link.

I think that version is the 'radio edit', because the middle guitar solo is cut much shorter than the version that Mad Yannis posted on the other thread.

I'm guessing the solo at the end will be longer on the album as well.
