That's just my impression, judging from what I see. They've been on stage together on Gilmour's acoustic mini tour, they're touring together again now, David mentions Rick between the "friends" he thanks in the album notes, and so on...

Yeah I agree with Yannis, my impression is that David and Rick get along quite well these days. I don't think David would be touring with anyone he didn't like.
