Re: Roger Waters in Rock in Rio

Actually, the decision to "backstab" you came from Roger's camp, not AOL.

I heard that Roger didn't give permisson to transmit the second part(Dark side of the moon), but I thought that you had the possibility to see the first part.

Re: Roger Waters in Rock in Rio

My review:
Great, great, great show, I think this show was better than the 2002 Tour. First, in my opinion Roger Waters shows is better in open spaces than in closed spaces, second, 70.000 people it's not the same than 18.000 (Multicultural Pavilion), and third, this time he sang more Pink Floyd and less Roger Waters(3 only songs).
The show started at 00:30 and ended at 03:15 (with a 15 minutes break between two parts).
One more time, I loved the "Set the controls" perfomance, It was amazing! "Gunners Dream" was amazing too, I never thought that he sang this song. Perfect sense was a great moment (PP Arnold, WTF voice!)
The second half, what should I say? Listening "Dark side of the moon" live, it isn't every day! But the Encore, only "The Wall" songs, Roger surpassed all expectations! He is the Show man! That's the big difference between him and David!

But, It wasn't all a sea of roses, Roger did a great perfomance but he lost the voice on "Shine on" song, Roger was saved by the female background vocal.

Other musicians:
The guitarrist, Dave Kilminster is a good guitarrist, no doubt, but he did some mistakes in some solos, he sang "Money" song and he forgot the lyric! And he is not David Gilmour, in some solos he tried to be David. I like more Doyle Bramhall.
Snowy White good show, in his own style.
Graham Broad, another great perfomance.
Andy F. Low, a little hidden, and he didn't make what he did in "Money" song on the tour of 2002.
Jon Carin, i didn't like his voice.
Harry Waters, well, very serious, with a beard so great so great, he was unrecognizable.
PP Arnold, great voice, her perfomance on "Mother", "Great gig" and "Perfect sense" was wonderful!

Roger, thank you very much for this great moment!

Well, very similar, only a few changes on the guitar, comparing with the original. I think it was this song that Dave Kilminster and Snowy White did the solo at the same time. They did it very well.
In the beginning, Roger did the sheep sound (baaing??) and fans answered doing the same.
Stranger was that he sang perfectly this song after he having lost his voice in "Shine on"!!!

Re: Roger Waters in Rock in Rio

I'm thinking of merging it, or at least moving it out of the Rumour Mill.
