Hello I am Bleddyn and I am a Flyd Nut.

I am new to the page and have been listing to Pink Floyd since I was about 6 years old makeing it a obsession later on.

I have collected over 300 bootleg Lp's, tpaes and now CD's over the years and found some real rare stuff in Europe whan I was in the Army.

I have picked up some weird rumors in the past few months from a few buddies of mine in the UK.

And just wanted to know if anyone has heard them too???

1. Pink Floyd are very secretly plannig a Solo years tour.
Rumour has it only music from all the solo recods of all the members will be played except for the oncore which will be new material and a few old songs.

2. The second is that This tour will have a pre runnig all new recored solo release as Pink Floyd songs a few days prior.

Anyone heard any such rumours???

Sounds like a Killer idea to me as it will be a comfortable yet new material
to all the band members.

One last thing does anyone possibly have a half decent recording of Syd's song The Wizard??? Mine is getting kind of old on my tape and my record is scratched over a small part of the song.

Thanks and thanks for letting me join.

Hello Bleddyn,
welcome to the site. You will find a wealth of information here regarding all things Floydian...come to think of it you will find a wealth of information on just about any subject you can think of. The best place to start is by using the 'Search' button, as most subjects have been done to death...including all those rumours. You should also acquaint yourself with the rules and guidelines, a ripping yarn and guaranteed to ward off insomnia. If you have any questions about the site, ask one of the moderators. These god-like creatures are Fulghum, Deranged, Dr Cheese, Fairjess, Sydney, Fixxlevy and Death Tongue. I myself am but a mere mortal, but if I can help in any way please give me a holler.
look forward to talking with you.

Actually if you have any questions at all about anything, just ask Botley.

There aren't really that many good fights here either, I hate to break it to you.

Well, not everything... I have no intention of becoming this site's certified sex therapist in addition to being its resident trivia boffin.

The rumours are false, BTW

I think you could fill that gap. Aunty Aneurysm consults.

Dear Aunty Aneurysm,
My best friend tells me that they enjoy intimate relations with a cocker spaniel, whist listening to The Division Bell. Are they wrong to indulge in this kind of behaviour?

Re: Hello I am Bleddyn and I am a Flyd Nut.

Well, Betty;
I'm not too proud to admit that I myself enjoy a little romp with the smaller of animals from time to time, but I suspect that listening to The Division Bell might be a sign of some deep-seated emotional problems that your friend should seek help for.

With Love,
Aunty Annie(not to be confused with 'Ask Annie', she's a bitch)
