Roger Waters tour!!!!

I suspect most of you are checking out Brain Damage often, but if you haven't done so this week, here is a great PP Arnold interview.

Is rogers new solo album ever gonna come out and is he gonna tour again at some point?

There have been rumblings about a 2008 outing; I doubt Rog will have the time since he now seems pretty focused on getting The Wall up and running on Broadway.

He has plenty of songs stockpiled for an album, some of them already recorded, but they have apparently yet to cohere around a central idea. Roger's been dropping hints in interviews about several grandiose concepts but it all seems rather sketchy (in both the modern and antiquated senses) to my ears.

I'd love it if he toured again, went to see him at Earls Court this year and it was amazing.

Coachella just announced their lineup for 2008 concert in California...

topping lineup is Roger Waters along with Jack Johnson,Tegan and Sara among others...

Roger has announced about 4 tour stops in North America for 2008 so far...

one is a special appearance at the Pepsi Center in Denver,Colorado for our friend STRATMAN ...maybe he can do the Sax solo in Money...

For my brief return to the forum i thought id post a couple of thoughts.

I say Roger in Manchester last year, it was a wonderful show. Great visuals and a wonderful set list.

He performed very well. I am however not a fan of kilminster, i thought the comfy numb guitar duet thing was horrible.

Anyway, great show, hope to see him live again!

There is a new "Wall" tour he is doing. My understanding is that he is playing "The Wall" all the way though in sequence. I'm sure he'll toss in a few extra songs at the beginning or the end.

I haven't checked other dates but I got my tickets already for the show in Dallas, it's November 21, 2010. Should be a great show!
