Roger Waters tour!!!!

Brain damage says that Roger waters is playing the hyde park calling festival on the 30th June. Great news news but when i searched on google there was no mention of this festival or whether tickets will come out or are coming out etc. Anyone with any info??

That date (and several others, including the one in Ireland ) have been removed from Brain Damage.

Another site (www.pinkfloydz.com) says several dates were removed by request of RW's management as they are still 'in discussions' about them.

Actually Roger has said he wants to tour the USA (and hopefully Canada) as well next year.

Why is that? His first tour in some twelve years was an American tour. The tour after that was an AMerican tour. THen he did his world tour. He now lives here (with two homes, I believe) and as Botley said, expressed interest in touring the US.

I'n skipping Dave (200 bucks for a ticket plus he's nowhere close to me, plus I like the guy but just not that much) and hoping for ROg in '07.

My ticket for Dave was $155. A friend of mine and his father got tickets to the first show and i got one for the seond. However, they paid $300 a seat and are in the same section as me.

Nick is playing with Roger at the gig at the French Grand Prix in Magny Cours. So we have Dave and Rick as one band, and now Roger and Nick as another. Hmmm, it's just like the 80's all over again. So much for a reunion.

At the moment that's all that's been announced however somebody who runs another forum has heard he may be playing all of the dates but it's just a rumour at the moment....
