Taking pics at David's shows

Just wondering something.... I know that in the United States if you are seen taking pictures at a concert they will probably take your camera away.... Does anybody know if that is how things work in Germany? I really want to take some pics from the front row in Hamburg, but I also really do not want to lose my camera.... Any thoughts, insight, suggestions?

If your camera isn't a professional camera, i think there is no problem with that.

It is allowed, but Guy Pratt today said they didn't like the use of flash.

Re: Taking pics at David's shows

Flash is annoying. When I was at the DG concert in Paris people on the last row used camera with flash all the time. What the hell is the point of using flash 50 yards from the scene?:p

Re: Taking pics at David's shows

Flash is useless and is annoying, even for the artists on stage. Trust me, my girlfriend has taken excellent pics at Gilmour's concert without the effing flash.

Re: Taking pics at David's shows

was at glasgow gig last night and the cretin next to me had a cellphone/digicamera held high filming through the full show! Very distracting! Though not as distracting as the couple seated behind me who had a full blown domestic halfway through Echoes because as she brandished his camerafone filming the show a text message came in from a mysterious female! Typical, you finally get the chance too see the legend live and you end up two feet from a couple of Jerry Springer candidates
