Songs that make you cry
I have just seen Lou Reed's "The Kids" posted on the "What song are you listening to now?" thread and I've said to myself "why not making a thread about songs that have the power to make you cry?" I did a tiny search and I haven't seen this topic but I'm sorry if it is a DDT (Oh Deranged! The Mighty Thread Merger Moderator! Where are thou now?).

The songs that almost always make me cry are the aforementioned "The Kids", "The Long and Winding Road" (the "Stripped" version without all the orchestra and choir arrangements), Chris Rea's "Tell Me There's a Heaven" and Radiohead's "How To Dissappear Completely" (I can relate so much to that song...).

It's no wonder they didn't want me anymore playing drums in that nu-metal band I used to play with...

There isn`t one. But I feel that I will cry next time when I`ll listen to Camel`s Lady Fantasy. For..some..reasons..
And maybe WYWH too.

When my wife says her mother is coming to stay. That song brings tears to my eyes every time.

I don't mean to pull a "Deranged" on you, Watered, but here's a similar thread:

There are no songs that make me cry. My emotions are not that close to the surface. As I noted on the other thread, Dust In The Wind and Sugar Mountain are a couple with a melancholy aire about them.

Some songs meant to be "sad" come off as comical. To wit: Teen Angel,
Last Kiss, Leader of the Pack, etc.

At the moment, i just remember two songs, "Brain Damage/Eclipse" and "Paranoid Android" but i don't know why!
