Well there is one part on the high part of the Comfortably Numb solo on Pulse that gives me chills.

Re: Chills, chills, chills!!!

This sounds kind of odd, but there's a particular note in the harmonica solo in Dylan's Mr. Tambourine Man that gets me every time.

30 seconds into Combination of the 2 by Big Brother & the Holding Co, (an otherwise throwaway track) where guitarist James Gurley performs a screaming 5-second-long bend.

Indeed.

I would also add (among many others):

-Radiohead's "Exit Music (for a film)" the bit when Thom sings: "We hope your rules and wisdom choke you / And now we are one..."

-Radiohead's "Fake Plastic Trees" the bit that goes "She looks like the real thing / She tastes like the real thing...")

-Jimi Hendrix´s "Voodoo Child (slight return)" performed live at the Royal Albert Hall in 1969. The solo is like an air raid with constant bombing.

CATS IN THE CRADLE - both the original one with the violin solo and the "UKJ's" guitar solos;in fact the whole song.
