BBC Exclusive Gig

Dave did a gig last night at The Mermaid in London that was broadcast live on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Digital TV.

Currently there is a loop of 30 minutes of the hour-long concert. It'll be available until the 14th March.

Track List:

On An Island
Shine on you Crazy Diamond
Comfortably Numb (duetted with Rick Wright!)

I'm currently recording it and will put it up when I have the chance.

There's also a 55-minute streaming version on the BBC2 website.

"Wearing the Inside Out" is really, really good live... watching them play it completely changed my perspective on that song.

Agree with you, Botley...but I've always thought that was the best song on TDB. This live version makes me like it even more.

Re: BBC Exclusive Gig

The slide guitar solo from Jon Carin on "Take a Breath" was a little bit boring on the Mermaid show, but in Amsterdam it was one of the highlights of the first half. He played a much heavier and more technical solo in Heineken Music Hall. After the solo David Gilmour had a big and happy smile when he looked at Carin.
