Good work;keep on with practising ;thats the way I learned !The best way to improve your art is practise ;use any source available;be it a live study/artwork /books etc.Though you need to practise on the light and shadow dept.and also it would come very handy if start developing your unique pencil strokes.I work with mecahnical pencil ( the straedtler 0.5mm is a good one) then i work with HB graphite (preferably soft and triangular grip).Of course using the correct paper;use cartridge sheets or textured handmade for pure pencil/charcoal ones.Of course you must work with all sorts then settle down with the ones you find yourself most comfortable with.Aha;another budding artist join in!!! Keep up the good work.

Those drawings are awful but the good thing is that it can all be corrected with practice.

I hope I don't get burned by this but we all know they are pretty ugly drawings.

I'm sorry, but I agree. I do honestly like the last one, though, definitely the best. Maybe you should stick to abstract drawings.

I now have the first one as wallpaper on my laptop.

... the message i take here is what's important is that you enjoy expressing your artistic nature ... keep working at it & enjoy the process ... whether you wind up a grand master or not ...
