Can The Future Be Told?

I liked the first stanza, but I was I wish I knew what "things" and "them" meant.

Happiness

Let's start this over
Take it from the past
And rewind the tape

Let's forget about what was said
Erase all memory
And pretend we can't see

I'm running towards the sun
Hoping to find the gun
That won't just numb

So let's make way backwards
Retreating to summer
And all of it is so innocent

Let's drink one more
After the other
And try and clense the core

'Cause i'm running towards the sun
And I can almost see a gun
That will end before I'm done

Death

A beast lives
A beauty dies
But is there a meaning?
Could words hold keys
To doors we do not see
While we walk this path we call life
alone
Or do I run
Where I hope to have fun
While I touch her warm thigh
I scream out a love cry
But death only smiles
For death brings happiness
Death gives wings
But is lust part of death
Do I dare say I'm wrong
or do I say I'm right
Is love worth it
Or is it only night
Choices in the past
Take me to the future
While writings
Bring back to the past
Could this be a jail
A jail of regrets
Waking up and saying
"Is my life over yet?"
Has death arived
Or has it just departed

Looks Just Like It


Blood trickling down your feet
Making loud noises of things I need
Only want the time to be
Where everything is only you and me

Lets make a day turn night
Lets create a world that is right
Where everything is in sight

Death lurking in shadows
Ready to make all your sorrows
Unknown to the dark
'Cause the dog's bite is worse than its bark

Lets make stars fall from the sky
Lets open our third eye
So we can see every single lies

Water draining from the gods
Takes everything back so it's a little odd
As if they are talking
Like when the birds are flawking

Lets make a god cry
Lets make an angel sigh
As if it cannot believe its eyes
